01

The problem

The product is a programme — several days, a schedule, a practitioner — and the site was structured as accommodation with a rate. Guests were arriving at a room type and leaving without ever seeing what the days contained.

Enquiries that did come through were asking questions the programme pages should have answered, which meant the team was re-selling by email every time.

02

The approach

The programme became the unit of the site. Each one leads with what the days look like, who runs it, who it suits and who it does not — that last part filters out enquiries that were never going to convert.

Accommodation moved to where it belongs: a supporting detail inside the programme, not the entry point.

03

The build

Programmes and practitioners are separate documents in the CMS and compose on the page, so a practitioner running three retreats is entered once.

Dates and availability are editable by the retreat manager without any developer involvement, which was the condition for the site staying accurate.
