About these terms

This site is operated by Shasha, trading as shashathink, an independent design and development practice in Colombo, Sri Lanka. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using it.

This is not an offer or a contract

Everything on this site — the services, the process, the pricing models, the case studies — is descriptive. It is not a quotation, an offer capable of acceptance, or a commitment to particular deliverables, timelines or prices.

Work is only agreed in a separate written scope signed by both parties. Where anything on this site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.

Enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship and does not oblige either of us to anything. I aim to reply within two working days but do not guarantee it, and I may decline work for any reason.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the enquiry form. If a project needs that, say so and we will put an NDA in place first.

Content and intellectual property

The design, code, text, images and structure of this site are mine unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright.

You may read, link to, quote and share it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, or reproduce the design or code as your own work or a client's.

Case studies are published with the client's permission. Client names, logos and trade marks belong to those clients, not to me, and appear here to identify the work.

Some case studies describe subcontract work delivered through an agency. Where a client relationship belongs to a partner agency, that is stated on the page.

Result metrics are labelled where they are estimates rather than measured figures. Past results describe a specific project and are not a prediction about yours.

The journal

Articles are opinion and professional experience at the time of writing, offered in good faith. They are not advice for your specific situation, and technical detail dates quickly. Verify anything before acting on it.

Advertising

Journal pages carry advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are labelled. I do not choose or endorse the advertisers, and their presence is not a recommendation.

External links

The site links to client sites and third-party resources. I do not control them and am not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as-is. I do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and I may change or remove any part of it at any time.

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from reliance on anything published on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
